A residence chosen by international travellers, personalities from the worlds of industry and fashion, numerous italian and foreign actors, and by well known tv stars. The refined decor, designed by the london-based architect harry gregory, was the only italian nomination for the 1998 hotelspec award, an event open exclusively to prestige hotels and international hotel chains. In 1998 the mellini was short-listed for the hotel of the year prize for hotels located in art cities.
