Overview
The excellent 3-star Bastion Centrum-Zuidwest Hotel is well located for both business and leisure travellers alike; the tourist heart of Amsterdam, eg. the Leidseplein is just a 10-minute tram ride away, Schiphol is just 10 minutes by car and the RAI congress area a similar distance. There 80 rooms are available to guests and all (both smoking and non-smoking) feature a colour television with free video channel, telephone, safe, radio alarm clock, desk, modem connection, free coffee and tea facilities, a minibar and a bathroom with shower and toilet as standard. An extensive breakfast buffet is available every morning between 06.00 and 09.30 hrs, and the hotel's à la carte grill restaurant is open from 11.00 to 23.00 hrs for both lunch and dinner. Every Wednesday evening, the hotel lays on a special football, or film, viewing for its guests; however, if some wish to relax, they are free to enjoy the pool table or complimentary internet access (there is also complementary wi-fi for all guests in the lounge area).
